Element Sircus (winter solstice 04) Posted by: bentforkman
Video duration: 480 seconds This is a piece I did with the Absent Sound for the December 2004 Element Sircus. I was a member of the band at the time as a non-musician. Basically they made the music part of the show and I did the visual part. In this clip I am the giant snow monster. My sister Eileen plays the Red Ridinghood character. The Seven Ravens Posted by: bentforkman
Video duration: 407 seconds This is an excerpt from an invited showing of Charla`s and my new piece. It's a work in progress but this chunk works nicely in the video. The piece is adapted from a Grimm`s tale also called the Seven Ravens. Unfortunately I can`t seem to get Youtube to play it in 16x9 widescreen so it looks a little stretched. If you know how, let me know! Related: art, brothers, expressionism, folktale, grimm, interdisciplinary, intermedia, longfield, mask, performance, puppets, silent |

Mirror Dream (or 77 million bedsheets) Posted by: bentforkman
Video duration: 525 seconds This is a 2 projector video installation I did. It's a bit of a riff on the mirror gag from the Marx Brothers' film "Duck Soup". I've seen a lot of vidoe art lately that uses multiple projections where one projector is reversed to create symmetry. This piece is intended to parody that trick.
